Larry has been with the center since April of 2002. He brings over 30 years of cooperative management experience with him. He managed Cumberland Farm Products, a farmer-owned vegetable marketing cooperative from1971 to 2002. His experience in this area has been critical to the ability of the Center to help our emerging cooperatives in Kentucky lay a foundation for future success.

Brent Lackey, Business Development Specialist

Brent began working for KCARD in July 2006. Brent brings over 3 years of cooperative management experience. He managed Cumberland Farm Products from 2003 to 2005, and he managed the Kentucky Produce & Aquaculture Alliance from 2005 to 2006. He graduated from Transylvania University with a B.A. in Economics and the University of Kentucky with a M.S. in Agricultural Economics.

Nathan Routt, Business Development Specialist

Nathan began working for KCARD in July 2006. He holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Kentucky. Prior to KCARD, Nathan worked at the S & B Cattle Company in Lexington, KY. Nathan grew up on his family's tobacco, livestock, & hay farm in Jessamine County.

Rich Laing, Business Development Specialist

Rich began working for KCARD in November 2006. Rich is a graduate of the Georgia Tech Logistics Institute, and he has 25 years of experience in business coaching/consulting, marketing, logistics, operations management, and information systems. Rich and his family reside in Hardin County.
