1st day of June, August, October, December (or until funds are depleted).

Eligible Entities: 

• Kentucky farmers with sales greater than $1,000 and below $250,000

• Kentucky-based non-profits that serve multiple Kentucky farmers

Funding Amount: 
Up to $5,000 per producer or $15,000 per non-profit.

Overview:
This program helps farmers who want to improve their farming operations and improve the marketability of their products. Applicants may apply under one of the following program areas: Aquaculture & Aquaponics; Certified Organic Agriculture; Value-Added Products; Agroforestry; or, if not eligible under another area, you may apply for a Food Insecure Area Production (if you live in a food insecure county as defined on the map here).
