The Kentucky AgVets Program is offering reimbursement stipends to veterans looking to learn more about agriculture.
Who can apply for a stipend? Active military personnel, reservists, National Guard members or veterans
What are eligible expenses? Stipends will reimburse registration costs, travel fees and lodging up to $400. Meals not included in the conference registration cannot be reimbursed.

What do I need to apply?
Information for the conference you wish to attend: website, agenda, location, etc.
Estimated costs to attend or participate in conference.
Once selected, how will the funds be delivered? Confirmation of conference registration, hotel confirmation, and mileage record must be emailed to lkurtz@kcard.info within 30 days of the conference. Checks will be mailed to the home address listed on the application within 45 days.
What if I can’t attend the conference? If you are unable to attend the conference for any reason, you must reapply.
How many times can I apply? You can apply up to twice in one calendar year with a lifetime limit of four times per applicant.
When can I apply? Applications will be accepted 6 times per year with deadlines of February 1, April 1, June 1, August 1, October 1, and December 1. You will be notified within two weeks of the deadline if your application is accepted.
